sweet, supine day!
slippery slopes guide my silk legs
sulking ever so seductively for you
slinking through the sidewalk tunnels above ground take off the ceiling remove your hats
flower petals tickle and arouse little hairs on your cheeks
birds send you secrets from the skies
sweat drips drops beams from your smooth, soft, sapphire skin flaps
this is spring, you are crawling out of the womb for the twenty-first time

the tongue unties itself
Eyes wide, heart hollow
Looking too far ahead to be seen
Wondering where his dear
mother takes him
Wondering how loud his
voice will be
Wondering who it was
that made him and if
he'll ever learn to read.
Listening to the conversations of trees
Before that talent escapes
Holding on for his life
Even in sleep
Eyes wide...
(I am not normally a serious person. Very rarely, actually, can one take me seriously...which is another reason for this blog I guess. A space to regurgitate that serious shit that builds up. I hope you enjoy this - I also hope you share some of your own.)

benvenuto amici!
upon the curse of a strep throat (the 11th one, at that), i have been stuffing my face with the only things palatable - horrible TV and random blogs. i figure this might as well be a reciprocal relationship. so here goes.
an ode to "that guy"
i'm at a loss for words
you've gone and shot the birds
that were carrying my message of truth.
